Somewhere in a distant galaxy, outside our solar system. Monte (Robert Pattinson) brings up her daughter Willow in complete isolation aboard a spacecraft. He became a father against his will - his sperm was taken and used to inseminate Boyse (Mia Goth, known, among others, from the second part of Lars Von Trier's "Nymphomaniac"). They used to be part of the crew of ex-prisoners and convicts who were sent like space rabbits into space to find the black hole closest to Earth. Now, years later, Monte and his daughter remained on board. "High Life" is the first English-language film by French director Claire Denis.

"High Life" is compared to the greatest works of Kubrick and Tarkovsky and has a chance for the title of the greatest film discovery in 2019. The first English-language drama Claire Denis featured a galaxy of stars: Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth (known from the second part of "Nymph" Lars Von Trier) , Juliette Binoche, André Benjamin (i.e. André 3000 from the music duet Outkast) and our compatriot Agata Buzek. American critics were delighted with the film, and the Guardian called him "an orgasmic miracle with Robert Pattinson". Let us add that the greatest passion is provided by the fact that the actor in the movie ... sings and accompanies him with the Tindersticks music group.
