Marc Webba's latest film, "500 Days of Love". Frank Adler is a lonely man who lives in a small Florida town and brings up a "brilliant child" - Mary's remarkably gifted niece. Frank wants Mary to learn in a regular school, but his rich and influential mother Evelyn has other plans - he wants to take his granddaughter's education into his own hands, thus separating Frank and Mary. Evelyn has an entire army of lawyers on his side, while Frank can count on only two people: his friendly hostess, Roberta, and Mary's teacher, Bonnie, with whom he begins to feel connected. Soon he realizes that just as outstanding abilities are a gift to Mary, the appearance of a girl in his life is a gift for him.
